i haven't been mac user since 2012, yesterday got myself 15 inch macbook pro, because need powerful enough run adobe software school. first downloaded chrome , set default browser. afterwards, went bittorrent , installed on laptop, reason when search on program, no results being displayed. when opened browser, homepage changed yahoo.com. after closing bittorrent, , closing chrome , reopening it, still yahoo. went settings , changed home page, closed window, reopened it, , still gave me problem. @ end, uninstalled bittorrent, went settings on chrome browser , fixed. i'm wondering, should worried? 2 day old macbook have trojan/virus/malware? should factory reset? take apple diagnosed? resetting device hinder performance? i'm sorry if i'm asking bad questions. haven't owned mac in 3 years, , paid more previous imac, why i'm freaking out now. please me situation. thank you, moses

hello everyone, i've searched on internet , found tons of scattered answers question, nothing has worked yet. i've had samsung 830 ssd in 15" mbp several years now, , decided wanted upgrade samsung 850 evo. i'm running yosemite, , made time machine backup of computer before doing anything. put new ssd in, formatted mac os journaled, , restored time machine backup. now, when boot hard drive progress bar fills half way , gives me circle slash through it. on original hard drive, had trim enabled, disabled before doing of this, if matters. i've reset pram few times during process see if work. @ point, i'm @ loss , have no idea do. appreciated   try restoring time machine backup again. on boot , tm hard drive plugged in, hold down option , choose start backup. go there. alternatively, if still have 830 contents, clone 850 using disk utility.

i have dfu restored phone. took age got there. entered apple id , password normal setup, gets similar page says enter password itunes purchases email address ***fshp@gmail.com or something...... email address has nothing me... skipped it. same again different email address couldn't recognise. wtf going on here? hacked somehow? apple mixing ids somehow?   this happened me other week. making backup on 5s before going purchase 6 - after got new phone did restore icloud backup, enter normal apple id, prompted me enter password account unassociated mine. hit skip, did icloud restore, went itunes / app store settings in settings app, signed out, signed normal account , stopped prompting me. not sure why happens, other people have said if sends music file or video purchased else's itunes account trigger it, in case nothing had ever sent anyone. doing mentioned above seemed trick me.
