hi all, i'm having odd cursor issue on rmbp. whenever using external display text cursor visual position seems offset it's pointing. isn't issue normal pointer cursor, on text, , doesn't happen on laptop's built in display, external 1 connected. i've tried capture issue in attached screen cap, cursor isn't captured. captured holding down (to select text). cursor rendered below 't' of top "portabits", full line above , 3 characters right of mouse selecting text. can imagine not useful! i've looked around having same issue can't find anyone, unfortunately. ideas? cheers! edit: after posting this, text cursor no longer appears, replaced instead regular pointer, luckily in correct position. no means ideal, better before. still strange... edit 2: spoke soon, original issue.   Forums Macs

(sort of) noticed last night test flight beta had expired , i've learnt once expires cannot launch app @ all, in fact force close immediately. thought downloading , installing older version @ least data, how wrong i! replaced new version , failed load data. had manual backup dated christmas eve, icloud had 1 pix enabled thought no problem i'll reinstall test flight version , pick backup.. wrong! kind of, couldn't reload beta app button greyed out update. there old version of 1 pix , no data on (yet). long onto icloud see 1 safe folder , in password app backup data. that's great doesn't me now! go 1 pix folder find empty!! thought there'd been updated fix such behaviour! i'm unable verify there backup can use! time being i've restored backup keep

this 1st time have ever ventured outside of powerpc forum. please excuse powerpc references. here questions: have emac , powermac g4 mdd fw800. can apple speakers plug in the rca-style 2.5mm audio jack on of mac. right have amp hooked mac via 3.5mm jack 3.5mm rca cable. have 2.5mm 3.5mm adaptor , portable unpowered speakers. if used these speakers in 2.5mm jack adaptor, how work? worth investing in apple hk speakers these kind of g4s? (iirc imac g4 has kind of speaker output) cube (with adapter). or sound better using 3.5mm jack , amp/power speakers doing? enclosure: looking 3.5" ide enclosure. have alot of ide hard disks , dedicated ide enclosure. problem finding ide enclosure fw400/800 option isnt common. can use sata drives in enclosure via sata ide adaptor. prefer universal enclosure if possible (sata/ide 5.25"/3.5"/2.5") under $50 if possible.   this best

i've not had lot of time think 1 through, i've had quick discussion someone. you're aware of short delay before watch face shows up. mine set go watch (analog face, arms). morning (australian time, i've had watch 24 hours now), found myself looking @ watch see time times, find put arm down without getting reading of time is! i've not worn watch 13 years, think problem might present regular watch wearers watching apple watch. thoughts on why might case: on watch clock face visible, can start getting preliminary readings on time/finding location of minute hand before reaches position full/final read. when final reading happens, know time , after brief pause, can lower arm. on apple watch, can't reading until watch in reading position in front of eyes, , after you've waited ~0.5seconds until face appears. now, spend ~0.5+ seconds focussing on hands read them. end read time of, say, twice long watch 'always on&#
