i've got several iphotos libraries (cumulative ~300gb). started new photos app on os x fresh new library icloud enabled (yup, gonna have pay that). photos gathered photo stream pictures it. opened couple iphotos libraries separately (option -> photos) , converted those, remain separate photos libraries. file -> import won't let me select iphoto nor photos libraries. clicking button "review import" (where you'd expect final import button be) complains "nothing import / none of these files can imported photos library". file -> consolidate unavailable (gray). if select one/all pictures, becomes available (black), complains "no referenced files consolidate / selected items stored in library." if switch photos library (option -> photos), same behavior. if switch library (option -> photos) , photos -> preferences, icloud tab says "icloud features photos available in system photo library"

hey guys! so, i've been having weird issue on work macbook pro (15", mid 2012 model) mouse , keyboard fail respond, , disconnect computer 1-2 minutes before reconnecting , working fine hours or days @ time (until starts again). 1 day on bootup saw bluetooth icon in menu bar grayed out, , when clicked on it said "bluetooth not available" (but promptly went away , devices connected again). had tried trashing bluetooth preferences, deleting mouse , keyboard device list , re-added them, , reset smc. had tried apple hardware test before taking long , had work do. set run test leaving work last night. come in morning find progress bar hadn't moved inch. pic of got stuck. weird wouldn't go past '11 seconds'... what's confusing issue seems rear head randomly. i've been looking @ console logs (bluetooth crashes have been happening starting on february 24th...) , seems can happen few every couple of days, or ma

i have 2013 mba , works pretty me. lot of programming , enjoy watching 1080p youtube videos when come across them, , mba has never given issues both of those. i'm interested in upgrading, screen. options macbook , new 13" rmbp. however, have important requirement. vast majority of laptop use spent laptop on lap, upwards of 8 hours straight. mba perfect this: comfortable, small, extremely light, , little heat emission. hardly notice it's there. don't care new macbook's flashy features , form, however, absolutely need that's comfortable use on lap extended periods, means not heat (regardless of clothes i'm wearing) , not weight. rmbp 0.5 lbs heavier, i'm not terribly concerned weight, heat , dimensions. know new rmbp released, i'm wondering if second recent model tell me if there's reason why should prefer lighter model extended lap use, or if mbp fine. thanks.
